Ingredients for the dough:

  • ½ kilo flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
  • Warm water

Other ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups of sunflower oil (for frying pastries)
  • ½ kilo KIBET minced meat
  • 1 medium-sized finely chopped onion
  • Salt / pepper
  • ¼ bunch finely chopped parsley


In a bowl, mix the flour, salt and oil. Add the warm water little by little and knead well the dough. Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rest for 30 minutes. In a medium pot, heat half a glass of oil and fry the minced meat. When it is almost cooked, add the onions, salt and pepper. Cook the minced meat and onions until well it gets brown. Add the parsley to the meat and mix. Take medium-sized pieces of dough and roll the dough one by one in a circle using a rolling pin. Place half of the dough with a tablespoon of mince mixture. Cover the remaining half of the dough on the other side filled with mixture. Cut the dough one by one with a dough cutter leaving two cm space from the edges. Press a little by hand so that it does not open. And fry them in hot oil.
